Branding Guidance

... from an Expert

While modern websites and web applications are very useful tools, they aren't the whole picture in digital marketing. All websites and web applications work better with brand pressence. Brand pressence can be described as a company, business, or organisation's natural charisma, and it is derived from a number of sources, all of which can be managed and developed to enhance or diminish different aspects of the brand.

Brand Strategy

Effective brand management is an exploration of the company's intentions, against the perceptions of the people buying the product. At Project Muse, I start by developing your brand focus, based on your SEO profile (sometimes vice versa). It's from the Discord chat, as well as our in person discussions, and your research within your own network that I draw inspiration for what will work to build and sell your brand.

It is essential to understand that branding is a process that involves, but is not limited to:

  • Graphics and Colours: What is the feel of your business and its pressence and how do you express this feeling through the use of pictures and colours?
  • Form and flow: What is the shape of your business and your product and how do you project this shape, but within your store, and within the larger community.
  • Style and Typography: Words sell, and the type of words you choose to build your brand have a strong impact on the communities that your brand will reach.
  • Taste and Cultural preferences: Your business occupies a unique spot within the communities it serves. How do people receive your brand within these communites, and whether you belong, to them, has a huge impact on your brand power.

Brand Development

Project Muse offers a range of brand development options, including graphics design, copywriting, videography, and animations. As I believe in developing the highest quality work for a reasonable price, I outsource all of the 'artwork' side to local artists, and pay a set rate, based on local market standards.
